Melbourne band RVG are gearing up to celebrate their second album 'Feral' with a heap of Aussie shows this August and September.
It may have been over a year since Melbourne's RVG unveiled their incredible new album Feral; but for those eagerly waiting to catch the new release live in action, the wait is officially over. The quartet officially announced their long-awaited Feral Australian album tour today.
Starting off with an elegant bang, RVG will grace the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday 25 August as part of Vivid LIVE, before heading to Brisbane and Melbourne in August, with Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle and Castlemaine to follow in September.
Marking the first time the band have played interstate shows since Feral was released in April last year (which was The Music's Album Of The Week on release), RVG are set to bring the raw feels nestled in their latest release to life onstage - coating themes of isolation and frustration in underlying optimism and hope; a perfect combination for the strange times we all still find ourselves living in right now.
Off the back of a recent collaboration with Julia Jacklin covering Björk's Army of Me and a handful of Melbourne-based shows earlier this year (including a slot at Boogie Festival) - definitely don't sleep on the chance to catch this incredible new album live in action; and get a little COVID-safely feral in the process for good measure.
Tickets for RVG's upcoming shows are on sale now. Head to theGuide for all the info.
