"We’ve got a healthy mix of outdoor shows in this run to try to take advantage of those summer nights."
Having secured five ARIA noms for their newest record Bloom, dance trio Rufus are making sure their tour blossoms to its fullest potential in 2017 by announcing an expansive regional tour of the country.
The 13-date extravaganza will take two months of the boys' lives and will take in shows in Port Macquarie, Wodonga, Townsville, Geelong and more to mark Bloom's first birthday.
The band's Tyrone Lindqvist says, "We’ve been talking about doing a full summer tour of Australia for such a long time, but have never found the right time for it until now. Spending the Australian summer out on the road with friends playing in all these beautiful places - half of which we’ve never been to… it’s something that's really exciting.
