Ruel Announced As Support For Khalid's Aussie Tour Following Massive Wrap By Elton John

The 14-year-old is on his way up.

More Ruel Ruel

Just weeks after being given the ultimate wrap by Sir Elton John, burgeoning Sydney artist Ruel has now been confirmed as the support act for US artist Khalid's upcoming tour of Australia.

The 14-year-old will kick off opening duties for fellow Aussies Angus & Julia Stone's national run this week before he joins Khalid on the road in November.

Earlier this month on his Beats 1 radio show, Elton John praised Ruel's single, Don't Tell Me, as an "amazing track".

"It's astonishing someone so young can write something so good," he said.

"I give up."

At the conclusion of the song, John then said, "All I can say about that is, we’ll be playing more of him, I hope".
