A great place for a cheap Sunday sesh
WA community radio station RTRFM in conjunction with the Western Australian Museum have put together a stellar event series for the summer called Harbour Sundays.
The five-week live music series will see some amazing acts take to the balcony of the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, backed by some stunning views of the harbour and probably some good ol' sunshine beating down on your necks, too.
All events are 18+, licensed and completely free, with the first event on 31 January featuring a live broadcast from 4pm of Rockin' The Roots, Catherine Traicos' album launch of Brave The Good Dark, Lucy Peach and RTRFM's DJ Peter Barr.
On 7 February you can catch quartet Day Of The Dead, surf rockers The Surf Mist and DJ Holly Doll. Harbour Sundays' Valentine's Day edition will see Eduardo Cossio Trio take the stage, along with Interview Music (their live debut!) and DJ Gabe Faith. On 21 February, the line-up features Grace Barbé Afro-Kreol, AJ Wigwams and DJ Lady Carla, while the last of the series on 28 February will go out with a bang with Datura4, Old Blood and DJ Big Ear Chad.
