Royal Chant Announce New Double Album And Tour Dates

The LP drops next month

More Royal Chant Royal Chant

Port Macquarie low fi outfit Royal Chant have announced a double album and their biggest tour to date.

Small Town Bruises/A Day At The Wauchope Races was crowfunded on KickStarter. The double album, their most ambitious release to date, covers all aspects of grunge and fuzz whilst telling the stories of real Australians. It is out on Monday 7 July.

Royal Chant first burst onto the scene in 2011 with their EP Raise Your Glass & Collapse, and have been a mainstay of the garage rock scene since.

Regular changes to the bands' line-up haven't slowed them down at all, with the new outfit featuring Mark Spence singing from behind a drum kit, with James Carthew leaving the bass duties to new recruit Ryan Stuart whilst he tackles lead guitar.

The band are playing throughout July and early August - check out theGuide for more details.
