This'll hit you right in the '90s feels

For most of us, Rowan Atkinson and his wordless, endearingly clueless character of Mr Bean strikes a strong nostalgic chord. For lucky tourists and Londoners who happened to be at Buckingham Palace in London yesterday, they happened to catch Atkinson reprise the role once more, driving the iconic 1976 lime-green Mini from the comfort of his rooftop — just like the hilarious 1994 episode, Do-It-Yourself Mr Bean.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the wildly successful sitcom, 60-year-old Atkinson took Mr Bean for a joyride around the royal grounds, recalling the odd facial expressions of the character, though it's been 20 years since Atkinson was on TV as the child-like character (he did, of course, also bring back Bean in two feature length films and a brief stint at the 2012 London Olympics).

For those who haven't seen the original episode, Mr Bean does all his Christmas shopping at once, buying an armchair, a mop and a number of paint tins, realising he no longer fits in his already tiny car once all the shopping is loaded in. He proceeds to devise an ingenious way to drive home from atop his armchair, strapped onto the roof of his car.
