Rolling Loud Australia 2024 has hit another snag as the organisers announced a second postponement of the lineup reveal, which was initially set to be disclosed to the public on October 25th.
The rescheduled date of November 1st at 10am has been retracted, and a new date for the lineup drop remains up in the air (at the time of writing).
The delay is a blow to hip-hop enthusiasts who have been looking forward to the festival's lineup since the event's last Australian edition in 2019, with many taking to social media to air their concerns about the event.
“At this rate, we will get the lineup the morning of,” one punter complained on TikTok, while another joked, “Lineup is gonna drop the night before just to have Hilltop Hoods 4 times.”

Another quipped, “Heard the Dripworld manager is running the joint,” referring to the ill-fated hip-hop festival that was cancelled last minute in 2019.
Despite the setback, Rolling Loud's co-founders, Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif, had previously revealed their excitement about Rolling Loud’s return to Australia after several years.
“We are hyped to come back to Australia for the first time in years,” they said in a statement.
“The Sydney fans were so passionate in 2019, so we are eager to return Down Under, and bring Rolling Loud to more cities this time. The Aussie shows will be a unique Rolling Loud experience, and we’re excited for everyone to see what’s in store.”
Meanwhile, speculation about potential headliners has been rampant on social media, with names like Travis Scott, Future, Toosii, and Ski Mask The Slump God being predicted by fans. Rolling Loud is renowned for its showcase of global hip-hop talent, and the 2024 festival is expected to continue this tradition.
The postponement of the lineup announcement has also likely affected the sale of general admission tickets, which was supposed to commence on November 2nd. Those interested in attending are now advised to monitor the official Rolling Loud Australia website for the latest information.
Despite the current uncertainty, the festival is still scheduled to take place at Sydney’s GIANTS Stadium on January 26th and at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on January 27th.
Stay tuned for more news as soon as we hear it.
