Riverboats Festival 2023 is relocating to a new home.

The event's traditional venue of Aquatic Reserve on the banks of the Murray River is currently a natural wetland. With the rain not stopping and river water levels rising, organisers have decided to move the festival to Echuca's Victoria Park Reserve from 17 to 19 February 2023.

"Echuca-Moama has gone through an incredibly challenging period over the last few weeks, and our hearts go out to all those affected by the recent floods," said Festival Director Dave Frazer.

"Riverboats has been part of the Echuca-Moama community for over 10 years now, and whilst we're sad to be leaving Aquatic Reserve next year, we can't wait to put on a spectacular show at Victoria Park in a few months' time."

Riverboats Festival has also announced a fantastic line-up featuring Marlon Williams, Spiderbait, Alice Skye, MC Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz) and many more.

The event will also offer a limited series of intimate sideshows aboard the historic PS Pevensey paddle steamer in partnership with Murray River Paddlesteamers. Music fans can listen to tunes on the river from the likes of Skye, Felix Riebl, Andy Golledge, WILSN, Bones & Jones and Watty Thompson.

Tickets to Riverboats are just $75. It's a family-friendly festival and this year's event sold out in just six days.

On the line-up, Frazer shared, "Riverboats will once again deliver a remarkable line-up of Australian artists in 2023, with some award-winning Kiwis thrown in for good measure. To be able to present international acts of the calibre of Marlon Williams alongside homegrown legends, including Spiderbait, The Whitlams, and C.W. Stoneking, is a truly exciting thing, and we can't wait to get back to Echuca-Moama in a few months' time."
