Riot Grrrl Pioneers Bikini Kill Announce Reunion Tour

Well it looks like we are going to the US this year because legendary riot grrrl pioneers Bikini Kill have just announced a reunion tour. 

Reforming to play the first full shows since the band disbanded in 1997, the LA and New York shows will see the iconic line-up of Kathleen Hanna on vocals, Tobi Vail on drums and Kathi Wilcox on bass return along with guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle.

Bikini Kill were a legendary force within the '90s punk and feminist scenes. Following the band's breakup, Hanna went on to form Le Tigre and The Julie Ruin.

While there is no word on whether international shows are on the cards, we've got all our fingers and toes crossed for an Australian tour.
