Adrian Eagle, aka Adrian Naidu, is attracting some big name fans from overseas.
As noted in a tweet by Tommy Faith, executive producer of triple j Unearthed, the one and only Rihanna slid into Naidu's Instagram DMs this week.
Naidu's PR told The Music today that the exchange began after Rihanna followed the burgeoning Aussie artist on Instagram and he returned the favour by thanking her for the follow.
"What a gift you have," the Barbados popstar wrote.
"I'm grateful that you share it with us! Beautiful!"

2019 was a huge year for Naidu, releasing his debut EP Mama, which featured fan favourites Housing Trust, 17 Again and AOK, via Island Records Australia/Universal Music Australia.
“Adrian Eagle is an incredible talent with a unique and beautiful voice that impacts listeners instantaneously,” Universal Music A&R consultant and music producer Scott Horscroft said at the time.
Adrian Eagle will head out on tour to support the EP later this month. He'll also perform at Tones & I's huge bushfire benefit show which reportedly sold out in two minutes and has already raised $50,000.
