Despite the chaos happening all over the planet at the moment, some artists are doing what they do best and are releasing new songs, and today we have a brand new one from Rico Nasty, who continues to be one of the most exciting artists of the year. Following on from stand-alone releases 'Hard' and 'IDGAF', she's now back for the third month in a row with the hard-hitting 'Lightning'.
Released alongside some dope visuals that see her flex on cars and with stacks of cash, Nasty once again lays it down with bar after bar over a booming beat. Sounding almost impossibly cool, Nasty shows yet another side to her ever-evolving versatility, this time flexing on everyone who has ever doubted her with bars like "New Chanel bag and the boots, they both alligator/ I be goin' up, these bitches should call me elevator/ Now I'm blowin' up, these bitches should call me detonator/ Now they can't breathe, somebody get them a ventilator."
Hinting that there's still more on the way, Rico Nasty tweeted "Keep watching and streaming. I’ll keep dropping." We definitely will, Rico!
