'Rick & Morty’ Co-creator Dan Harmon Is Working On A Comedy Rap Album

A concept record album aliens.

If you’re wondering why new Rick & Morty feels like forever away, it may have something to do with the insanely busy schedule of co-creator Dan Harmon, who is now branching out into music.

As Deadline reports, the Community mastermind has signed on as executive producer for a comedy rap album by New York comedian Rob Tanchum.

As if that wasn't enough, the album, Disturbed, Depressed, Inadequate (brilliantly named after a George Costanza outburst), is a concept record, which sees Tanchum abducted by aliens (played by Harmon and Whose Line Is It Anyway? actor Jeff Davis) who probe his unconscious mind for “self-loathing” rap songs that make up the album.

Disturbed, Depressed, Inadequate is set for release August 21 through Harmon’s SBI Press and will also feature appearances from Reggie Watts.
