Live-streamed Tribute Announced For The Stems Founder Following Passing

A live-streamed tribute to beloved Perth rockers Richard Lane has been announced for this weekend, alongside a GoFundMe to help raise funds for his family.

A founder of The Stems and also a member of The Chevelles, The Painkillers and more, the guitarist and keyboard player passed away earlier this month, and this Saturday, May 23, the Australian music scene will come together to pay tribute to him.

Headed by The Painkillers and kicking off from 8:30pm (WA time), the tribute will be live-streamed via WA venue Mojo’s Bar, with appearances from Dave Faulkner, Steve Kilbey, Martyn P Casey, Flick Dear, Moana and more, some performing and others sharing tributes.

At time of publication, the GoFundMe had already raised close to $18,000.
