Revelation Perth International Film Festival has announced the Australian film Broke as their first film to be a part of their new concept Australian Revelations, which conducts screenings every month to promote locally-made films in Western Australia.
The film has received international acclaim and has been screened at film festivals around the world including Manchester, Ankara, Cardiff, Singapore, Los Angeles and Uruguay.
Lead actor Max Cullen said of the film, "It was crowd funded on a very small budget, only a handful of cast and crew were paid at all…it was a miracle that the end product was so extraordinary."
Broke will screen at The Backlot in Perth on 26 April with a post-screening Q+A with writer and director, Heath Davis.
