Sydney veterans take up social justice issues with new band

Sydney-based classic hardcore punk outfit Vigilante have signed to Resist Records for the release of their debut EP Quality Of Life.

Featuring members of prominent Sydney hardcore bands of the '90s, including Bad Blood, The Deadwalk, Urban Mayhem, Right Idea and Ill Brigade, this new project is reintroducing those mentalities into the current scene.

That includes lyrics largely based around issues of social justice and equality.

The EP – available on 12” LP and CD – was recorded with indie-favourite turned emerging producer Jonathan Boulet and pre-orders are now available through the Resist website. 25 percent of the pre-order cost will be donated to Sydney homeless charity The Station.
