REMI Release Infectious New Single & Video Featuring Thando

Meet the family.

More REMI REMI

Melbourne favourites REMI are back with My People, their first new single since 2016's ARIA-nominated Divas & Demons.

Released on the pair's own label imprint, House of Beige Records, the track's infectiously smooth groove bounces on Sensible J's infectious beats and electronic percussion and blends Remi Kolawole's fluid rhymes with soulful vocals from Zimbabwean-born songstress, Thando.

The accompanying film clip was directed by Melbourne MC Baro and is a lush, hyper-colour celebration of the REMI family featuring a who's who of Australian music makers.

"The most beautiful thing about this song, is that it was about family and I got to create it with family," Kolawole said of My People.

REMI will next perform at The Gum Ball festival at Dashville next weekend; click on theGuide for more details.
