His second LP, Divas & Demons, is due out next month and after some pretty damn impressive promotion for the album release, Melbourne duo Remi have announced they'll be hitting the road for a national tour to celebrate.

Kicking off the shows in Ballarat this November, the hip hop act will perform gigs in Darwin, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart and Melbourne to take them through to mid-December.

Joining them on all stops of the tour (excluding Darwin) is fellow rapper and collaborator Baro, as well as some yet-to-be announced guests.

If the news wasn't already good enough, Remi have just dropped the latest single from the forthcoming album, Lose Sleep featuring London-via-Brisbane artist Jordan Rakei.

"The most beautiful thing about a lot of musicians I know is how much the social climate effects them," Remi said of the track.

"Jordan Rakei is one of those musicians. Even though we were literally continents apart when he worked on this joint, with very little background on the song, Jordan was able too match the tone and message immediately. Partially because his voice sounds like liquid gold, but mostly because I know he gets it.

"It’s very apparent across his discography (if you haven’t heard it, get it) that he cares for our planet and the people in it."
