A 'Recovery' Documentary Is Airing On ABC Next Month

A documentary celebrating legendary '90s music show Recovery is set to screen on ABC next month. 

The one-hour special, which comes in support of Ausmusic Month, will look back at some of the show's best performances, interviews and moments. Dylan Lewis will host the doco, which also features Recovery co-host Jane Gazzo, film-reviewer-turned-director Leigh Whannell and even The Enforcer.

Artist and bands including Silverchair, Bernard Fanning,Tim Rogers, Killing Heidi, Regurgitator,The Living End and The Superjesus are also set to appear.

“Working on Recovery back in the day was rad. It was crazy, loose and so fun," Lewis said.


"Putting together this rockumentary has been nostalgic bliss for me and I can’t wait for old fans and new ones to experience it."

Recovery: The Music And The Mayhem will premiere at 9am on Saturday 23 November, followed by an additonal screening on Wednesday 27 November at 9pm.

The news comes only weeks after Lewis and Gazzo launched online series, Recovered, "a forum for artists and fans alike to share what’s going on in their neck of the woods".
