Uniting the worlds of music and sport to raise money for a damn good cause, the national roadshow of the Reclink Community Cup is returning to Brisbane in 2019.

This year's match will be played at the Everton Wolves & Mayne Tigers JAFC ground in Enoggera Memorial Park on 28 July.

In an epic match up of musos versus the media, the Rocking Horses will take on the Brisbane Lines in a sport we’re told by our friends in Melbourne is called “AFL”.

Members of The Church, Powderfinger, Violent Soho, Dead Letter Circus, Yes You, Sweater Curse, Tape/Off, Flangipanis and many more will look to cinch victory back, trailing 2-1 after successive wins from the Brisbane Lines.

This year’s theme is based on Paul Kelly and Kev Carmody’s timeless From Little Things Big Things Grow.

"Each of our Community Cup events around the nation capture the spirit of the event that people love; mateship, fun, awesome music, and above average grassroots footy – what more can you ask for in one incredible day?" John Ballis, CEO of Reclink Australia, said.
