Grab your watermelon and get ready to have the time of your life because Channel Seven has announced a brand new reality tv show based on the iconic '80s film.
The Real Dirty Dancing will see eight Australian celebrities travel to the United States to the location where Kellerman’s Resort was filmed to recreate the film's most memorable moments.
Under the watchful eye of choreographers Todd McKenney and Kym Johnson, the celebs will time travel back to the summer of 1963 to learn the iconic dance routines.
Hugh Sheridan, Jamie Durie, Jessica Rowe, Firass Dirani, Stephanie Rice, Anne Edmonds, Jude Bolton and Anna Heinrich have all signed on to the Eureka Productions show, which will be hosted by Todd McKenney.

According to TV Tonight, the show is tipped to run for four or five episodes with a finale in Sydney. No premiere date has been announced.
