RAW Comedy Open Mic Comp Registration Opens

RAW Comedy has opened registrations for Australia's biggest open mic competition, which will see the winner perform at national and international comedy festivals.

With individual heats held in eight states, RAW Comedy are looking for their next National Champion, who will be crowned at the grand final held at Melbourne International Comedy Festival next April. The winner will then travel to Edinburgh to compete in the So You Think You're Funny? competition in August. Open to anyone that has earned less than $500 from performing comedy (as of 1 January 2016), the nation-wide competition aims to shed spotlight on raw talent like past competitors Ronny Chieng, Hannah Gadsby, Josh Thomas, Celia Pacquola and Matt Okine.
