Publisher of Brisbane street press publication Rave Magazine, Colin Rankin, has announced today that the magazine will cease operation in its current form, with its future yet to be decided.
“Rave Magazine has now ceased publication of the weekly print edition of its magazines,” Rankin said in a statement released this afternoon.
“Currently our financial advisors are investigating options with regard to the sale of the magazine and its associated digital assets.”
Rankin thanked the dedicated staff and contributors who had been committed to the magazine over the 21 years it has been in operation, during which they printed 1047 issues. He also stated that all employees would receive full entitlements.
