Young Thug and Birdman have been named in an indictment
With more news coming to light regarding the shooting up of Lil Wayne's tour bus in Atlanta in late April, rappers Young Thug (real name: Jeffrey Williams) and Cash Money CEO Birdman (real name: Bryan Williams) have been named as conspirators in the shooting, along with Peewee Roscoe (real name: Jimmy Winfrey), who was charged with the shooting itself.
As WSBTV reports, the indictment states, "After Atlanta Police discontinued their escort, (Winfrey) and fellow Blood Gang members entered Interstate 285 from Atlanta Road in Cobb County in pursuit of the buses occupied by (Lil Wayne’s) group …
"That’s when the white sports car pulled beside the buses, shots were then fired into the buses from the sports car with a .40 calibre handgun and a 9mm handgun."
Birdman and Lil Wayne have been in dispute recently involving their record label, Cash Money, with Lil Wayne suing the label US$51 million in January and requesting freedom from them for violating his contract to release Tha Carter V.

In an unrelated incident, Young Thug's house in Georgia was searched on Wednesday morning, after he was asked to leave the mall when "he threatened to shoot (a security guard) in the face".
Neither Birdman nor Young Thug have been formally charged for the shooting.
