The annual electronic bushbash drops its second lineup announcement with several international artists
Victoria's annual gathering of psytrance, minimal house, sustainability and good vibes has announced that some major international and local artists will be joining its already-impressive and eclectic 2013 lineup.
Heading up the annoucement is buzzing up-and-comer Guy J. Bursting out of the Israeli dance scene, his flurry of dancefloor singles, mammoth touring schedule and acclaimed debut album on heavyweight label Bedrock have been building him an enviable worldwide reputation. His unmissable house odysseys, built on driving beats and shimmering synths will be an undoubted highlight of the festival
Joining Rainbow's house music ranks for 2013 will be Christian Smith, Peter Van Hoesen, Oliver Koletzki, Mathew Dekay and Eelke Klejin. Psytrance afficionados have not been forgotten, either. Shift will be journeying over from South Africa to make his first appearance at Rainbow Serpent and will be playing alongside The Commercial Hippies, Deedrah, Ecliptic, Neuroplasm and Absolum.
If you like a few live bands alongside the festival staples of DJs and producers, Rainbow Serpent have lined up 8 Foot Felix and Combat Wombat, among others, for the band stage. All the above will be joining the artists from Rainbow Serpent's first announcement: AES Dana, FM Radio Gods, Haltya, Hardfloor, LISH, Tim Healey and Yotopia.
