An Australian premiere, too.
With the 23rd Mardi Gras Film Festival a stone's throw away, Queer Screen have announced another surprise film screening.
After last week's announcement that they would be showing Paris 05:09, now comes the Australian premiere of Seashore, a Brazilian coming of age film. Two young stars (Mateus Almada, Mauricio Jose Barcellos) provide outstanding performances that encapsulate the innocence and hesitance of youth, with a gripping undercurrent of erotic tension.
The opening night film for the festival, Summertime, has already sold out, so head to queerscreen.org.au if you don't want to miss out on their other features.
