A new roadmap has been released.

After discussing the changes earlier in the week, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has today confirmed the state will revert to pre-Christmas COVID restrictions tomorrow.

From 1am tomorrow morning, restrictions will be eased on gatherings, indoor and outdoor events and dancing will be allowed to return in indoor and outdoor venues under COVID safe guidelines.

"It means we actually go back to our roadmap from December," Palaszczuk said this morning.

"So, for example, gatherings, 50 people will be allowed to come into your own home."

The Premier continued, "So this is wonderful news today and, look, can I sincerely thank the people of Greater Brisbane in those local government areas of Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and Moreton.

"You have done an absolutely terrific job."

The changes come as Queensland today reported one new COVID case (overseas acquired), while 7,410 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
