Victoria’s Queenscliff Music Festival returns this November, and if you thought organisers were done bringing the fun (and surprises), the excitement hasn’t ended yet.
Today, the festival adds 15 new acts to its line-up from across the country, including folk rock/alt-country outfit Ally Row, solo blues, indie, and folk artists Alex Kosenko, Chris Cavill, Emilia Fol, Grace Robinson, Kit Genesis, Kook Joey, Matt Davis, and Ruby McKenna, plus additional bands and duos Get Behind The Mule, Munroe, Norwood, Otis Namrell Band, Public Figures, Sweethearts, and Victoriana Gaye Trio.
They join the likes of Thelma Plum, The Cat Empire, The Waifs, King Stingray, Cosmic Psychos, Little Birdy, Pierce Brothers, Didirri & Rowena Wise, and many more at this year’s festival, which takes place from Friday, 28 November to Sunday, 30 November.
Meanwhile, the Queenscliff Music Festival has expanded with the addition of a new, floating venue that will be held on the Princess Peninsula Ferry.
The festival has partnered with Searoad Ferries to host six intimate performances on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a floating stage on the ferry that cruises across the bay. Promising an experience like no other, punters will get to take in 40-minute musical sets with a spectacular view.
Queenscliff Music Festival Director Claire Stickland said of today’s announcement, “Queenscliff Music Festival has always been about musical discovery and unexpected connection.
