The Kite String TangleThe four finalists of the prestigious Grant McLennan Fellowship have today been announced as Spencer White (Morning Harvey), Gabriella Cohen, Danny Harley (The Kite String Tangle) and The Ironing Maidens (Melanie Stevens & Patricia Preece).
The artists are now one step closer to receiving a $25,000 fellowship to travel to New York, London or Berlin.
Established in 2007 in honour of the legendary The Go-Betweens founder, the fellowship is designed to immerse recipients in the full cultural life of one of the cities to act as a source of inspiration and creativity.
Jeremy Neale won the fellowship in 2017.
The 2018 winner will be announced at a ceremony on Wednesday 5 December.
