Pure Noise Records have announced the signing of New Brunswick, New Jersey based indie band Gates. The band's latest EP "You Are All You Have Left To Fear" is set to be re-released through the label in the coming months.
The label had the following to say about the band, "Gates has already self-recorded and released two EPs in their brief existence, 2011's The Sun Will Rise And Lead Me Home and 2012's You Are All You Have Left to Fear. Commercial and critical response has been emphatic in its support: the Devildance Records issued limited edition vinyl pressing of their debut sold out in under an hour, and both releases received glowing reviews from Absolute Punk, Punk News, Alter The Press and more.
Though the group formed only a mere two years ago, all five of its members are experienced performers - guitarist Ethan Koozer was once a member of indie rock band Lydia - and they've showcased their well executed blend of aggression and serenity on the road in both the United States and United Kingdom."
