Pulp Release New Recording

Having recently headlined the Coachella cruise, reformed Britpop band Pulp provided fans with a Xmas surprise.

When the band played their hometown of Sheffield in early December they left a card on seats with a download code that promised a "little present". The download code became active on Xmas day.

Seems the little present was a re-recording of old Pulp song About You. According to Pitchfork the track was recorded in November with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and was finished off while the band were playing the high seas with Coachella.

Despite the new recording the band have revealed no further plans for touring or recording beyond the two-year reunion stint they have just completed.
