Pub Choir has picked up some high profile fans in the form of KISS this week.
Pub Choir is presented and curated by Astrid Jorgensen, Waveney Yasso, and Megan Bartholomew, and sees punters come along, stand in the crowd and learn the parts for a classic track - and they're often joined by a special guests, which so far has included members from Powderfinger, Killing Heidi, Paul Kelly, The Go-Betweens, Regurgitator, The Grates, Ball Park Music and more.
Last week saw the gathering have a crack at KISS' I Was Made For Lovin' You and now it's picked up the attention of the US rock group, with the band tweeting that rendition is "so cool!"
Guitarist and co-vocalist Paul Stanley has also shared his love of the cover, calling it an "honor", while bassist Gene Simmons called it "amazing". See the posts and the cover below.

"It has been impossible to get any work done today, knowing that Gene Simmons and Paul freakin' Stanley watched Pub Choir's video overnight," Jorgensen told The Music today.
"I keep rechecking the tweets and, yes, it actually happened. If that's not validation I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS. I'm so stoked, for Pub Choir, and also the 1,500 people that sang with us!"
Pub Choir head to the US next week for a tour which will see them stop by Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and at the annual SXSW festival.
