Aussie rockers Pseudo Echo are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their massive second album, Love An Adventure, with a national tour. Due to demand, they’ve added new dates to their highly anticipated run.
Melbourne fans will see the band perform a second night at the Palms at Crown on Saturday, 15 November. Fans in WA will experience three new shows, and Sydney and Melbourne fans will receive more dates in April and May.
Pseudo Echo’s Love An Adventure 40th anniversary tour begins on the Gold Coast on Friday, 7 February, followed by already-announced shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Canberra, and Perth.
Tickets to all shows—including the newly announced concerts—are available now via Pseudo Echo’s website.
Love An Adventure took the band from Australia to the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, with hits such as Don’t Go, Living In A Dream, Funky Town, and the title track resonating with a local and international audience. In Australia, Funky Town topped the charts for seven weeks.
In addition to announcing the new tour dates, Pseudo Echo have released a new version of the title track: Love An Adventure (Machine Remix). The remix was produced by the band’s lead vocalist, Brian Canham, and finds the classic song go down a darker, electronic direction.

Canham said of the release: “We incorporated elements of techno and industrial as well as the featured dark low-tuned guitar … in contrast to the original, which had no guitar. There is a homage to the original version, incorporating the disco style string stabs originally recorded using the MSO.”
