Private Function, King Parrot Lead 2025 Edition Of Thrashville Festival

Thrashville is described as the “slightly heavier” event that goes down at the Hunter Valley.

Thrashville is set to return to Dashville, Lower Bedford, in the Hunter Valley, Wonnarua, NSW, this June.

With a line-up representing artists across punk, hardcore, and metal, this year’s event hosts acts including Melbourne punks Private Function, hardcore heroes King Parrot, the powerful hip-hop-meets-metal artist Mudrat, and heavy acts such as Volatile Ways, Frankenbok, Simpsons-themed act Dr Colossus, and rising folk-punk superstar Slim Krusty. An event that celebrates punk, rock, metal, skating, live graffiti artists, and tattoos, Thrashville is described as the “slightly heavier” event that goes down at the Hunter Valley.

This year’s event is a single-day festival where live music will be hosted across four stages on Saturday, 28 June.

A handful of additional acts will be announced soon, with four winners chosen from four regional battles. Thrashville has received an overwhelming number of performer applications for this year’s events, inspiring Dashville to organise battles along the East Coast to lock in epic bands to join the Thrashville bill.

The battles will take place at heavy music venues on the following dates:

Thursday, 24 April - Mo’s Desert Club, Gold Coast
Saturday, 17 May - Open Studio, Coffs Harbour
Saturday, 24 May - Crowbar, Sydney
Friday, 30 May - Hamilton Station, Newcastle

Thrashville is open to punters over the age of 15. However, while underage patrons are encouraged to attend, they must be in the presence of a responsible adult at all times.

Tickets to the 2025 Thrashville will be available from 2 pm local time on Monday, 24 March, via the Dashville website.
