Now THIS is a good present.
Melbourne punk four-piece Private Function are taking over Forum Theatre this December in a massive way - hosting their horror/yuletide A Miracle On 69th Street.
The news comes off the heels of their signing to Select for bookings, and will be the first gig the band perform under the new signing.
Headlined by the band themselves, the show will feature support from fellow local rockers Press Club and Blonde Revolver, DJ sets from Cable Ties and Camp Cope's Georgia Maq, and a full-on wrestling ring in the centre of the venue featuring professional wrestlers from Pro Wrestling Australia
"Every year since we started this band we’ve put on a special Christmas show," the band announced via their Instagram this morning.
"This year we tricked Handsome Tours into helping us create our biggest one yet."
The band are no strangers to a weird and wonderful show. Earlier this year, they announced a special one off performance at the very remote Ettamogah Pub just outside of Aubry.
