PrincePrince has reportedly been rushed to hospital after his private plane made an emergency landing after a show he played in Atlanta.
As TMZ reports, Prince's jet made an unscheduled landing around 1am Friday morning (US time) at Quad City International Airport in Illinois just a few hours after take-off. Prince's rep confirms that he had been fighting a flu for a few weeks and boarded the plane having played the Atlanta show that night despite not feeling well.
Feeling worse after take-off, the plane made the emergency landing in Illinois so the Grammy-winning legend could be taken to the hospital via ambulance. He has since been released and boarded a plane back home.
The hard-working superstar recently played a series of highly-acclaimed shows in Australia, pulling massive crowds at both his shows and official afterparties.
