King ParrotHold onto your seats boys and girls, because our very own King Parrot are teaming up with US death/thrash metal outfit Revocation to give Australia and New Zealand an awesome new touring festival.
Coined as The Thrash, Blast And Grind Festival (which, no points for guessing), showcases all things thrash, and heavy metal.
To start this rad piece of festival gold, the first acts announced are none other than the bands behind the event, King Parrot & Revocation.
"We've wanted to put on a great value tour with awesome local and international bands for sometime now," King Parrot vocalist Matthew 'Youngy' Young says.
"The Thrash, Blast and Grind Fest has given us this opportunity. Once the full line-up is announced we’ll be proud to stand behind a new fest that is diverse, value for money and in the best venues in Australia and NZ. A true touring fest by the bands for the fans."
Set to go down in February next year throughout Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, the second installment of acts is to be announced over the coming weeks and will feature both national and international talent.
