Noisy Brisbane duo, Go Van Go, have a new single out this Friday. But we've got the first look and are very keen to share this new tune, 'There Was You', as well as it's accompanying music video with you today. No need to thank us.

The new track from the alternative rock outfit, made up guitarist/singer Troy Henderson and drummer/singer Dan Sugars, comes from the Queenslanders third EP, ‘Kill City: Renegades’ (a follow-up to 2015's 'Kill City: Switchblades' EP) which will drop like a warm, fuzzy distorted atom bomb on Friday, August 5th. In support of this new release, the band has a couple live dates coming up too, and you can find them below. (Note: more live dates incoming).
Fri, 19th August - Black Bear Lodge - Brisbane, QLD (local launch)
Wed, 31st Aug - Frankies - Sydney, NSW

Now, as for the drug-induced haze of the film clip, well, I think it fits the song quite well. The visuals shown are what I imagine it's like to wander around some strangers shitty costume party in some back end Melbourne suburb while tripping balls. (Henderson's purple jacket does look pretty damn sweet, though). In any case, don't do cocaine off a copy of Rusty Young's seminal book Marching Powder, or off anything for that matter, in bathroom stalls, kiddies. But then again...I don't do cocaine or live in a back end suburb of Melbourne, so what the fuck would I know?!
Well, what I do know is that you should check out the music video for 'There Was You' below and get riggity riggity wrecked, son.
