Port Fairy Folk Music Festival Announces Maton Artist Of The Year

With the 40th Port Fairy Folk Music Festival set to kick off this weekend, organisers have today announced the recipient of the Maton Artist of the Year as none other than Goanna singer, Marcia Howard

In a career spanning over 30 years, not only has Howard achieved immense success with Goanna, but she has also accomplished a great deal as a solo artist and has worked some of the world's biggest names including Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and more. 

Howard will cap off the exciting news by launching her new EP, Nashville Sessions, this weekend at Port Fairy.

Tickets for this weekend's festival have sold out, but punters can still gain access to the event through the official Ticket Exchange Program.
