Famous Melbourne nightclub Boutique is set to reopen just months after the passing of venue owner, Darren "Razzle" Thornburgh.
As Herald Sun reports, the Prahan venue will open its doors again next month through promoter Paul Laver, who worked alongside Thornburgh before his passing in October.
Thornburgh was found by police at his Barmah home and is believed to have died from head injuries; authorities said there were no suspicious circumstances.
"We’re never going to be able to do what Razzle did," Laver said.
"He was uniquely himself… a flamboyant character who had connections.

"He brought style and class to Melbourne clubbing. He made nightclubs up-market and fashionable.
"You had to make an effort, dress up, and look good. You had to, or you wouldn’t get in.
"We want to bring Boutique into the now, and give everyone the experience of what it was like, and how good it was. We want to bring the fun back."
Laver will also work with venue owners Jonathan Sheeren and Sammy Prosser to relaunch Boutique's popular Flash Friday event.
"It was the biggest night in Melbourne and a lot of people are hungry for it again," Laver said.
"It attracted the who’s who of the fashion, acting and music scenes. You wanted to be seen there. The footy players would try to get in. But, back in the day, Razzle would limit their numbers."
