“Clearly the message is not sinking in."

Police have hit out at multiple partygoers who were arrested with drug offences at a music festival in Sydney over the weekend.

As News Corp reports, 32 people who attended the Midnight Mafia Festival at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday were charged with drug offences and, of that number, four males were charged with supplying a prohibited drug.

"Clearly the message is not sinking in," Detective Chief Inspector Gus Viera said in a statement.

"Too many people are playing Russian roulette with their lives, not only is it extremely dangerous, but you are also risking a criminal record and future employment prospects.

"Not to mention the worry and concern you are causing your family and the unknown long term effects these drugs may have on your health. It's time to start making better choices."

The four men charged with supplying drugs at the hardstyle event will appear at separate trials in Burwood Local Court next month.
