Limited tickets available on the door
Victorian Police have this morning warned punters heading to today's Soundwave Festival at Melbourne Showgrounds not to bring illicit drugs to the venue.
Along with 'Passive Alert Detection' dogs, police indicated they'll be working closely with security, searching bags on entry.
Senior Sergeant Mark Pilkington said today, “The operation is not only about targeting those responsible for trafficking illegal substances but also reducing the impact of drugs on our community.
“We want everyone to go along and be able to enjoy the festival without being interrupted by the behaviour of others.”
