The breakout metalcore stars announce tour dates in support of new EP

More Polaris More Polaris

Sydney metalcore stalwarts Polaris have announced dates for their upcoming The Guilt & The Grief tour in support of their new EP of the same name.

The breakout stars of the heavy scene are having a big year, with plenty of airplay on triple j and cracking Spotify's Go Hard Or Go Home playlist, not to mention earning a stellar #2 result for the new album on the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts back in February.

Along with making the indie charts, the EP, released last month, has appeared on the ARIA charts, as well as making its debut at #1 on iTunes' Rock & Metal charts. It came in the wake of a knockout run of shows alongside Dream On, Dreamer late last year.

The upcoming Guilt & The Grief tour will be presented by Destroy All Lines and I Probably Hate Your Band, kicking off with a licensed all-ages showing at Adelaide's Enigma Bar on 20 May. The heavyweight roadshow also takes in dates in Melbourne (22 May), Newcastle (27 May) and Brisbane (28 May) — all AA events — and wraps up with a licensed all-ages performance at Sydney's Red Rattler on Sunday 29 May.
