Australian dance music group PNAU are set to perform at Flemington’s Elms precinct as part of this year’s Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 4 November.
The multi-platinum-selling, ARIA Award-winning act of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes, behind hits such as Cold Heart with Elton John and Dua Lipa, and Chameleon, are set to amplify the crowd with a special performance that will air for Channel Nine’s broadcast ahead of the race.
In addition to the Nine broadcast, PNAU will take to the stage for 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick – Live from the Lexus Melbourne Cup Eve Party at the Crown Riverwalk on Monday, 3 November.
Commenting on their return to Australia and Melbourne Cup Carnival debut, PNAU said, “We always love coming home to play in Australia. We can’t wait to experience the incredible energy of Cup Day and dance with you all.”
VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers added, “Securing PNAU to perform and celebrate with thousands of racegoers post the race that stops the nation is truly exciting. We can’t wait for the guys to bring their incredible dance hits and energy to the Live Stage in The Elms on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day.”

PNAU aren’t the only ones featuring across the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s entertainment line-up. They’ll headline the event alongside R&B star Craig David – performing on Crown Oaks Day – while any fan with a general admission ticket can enjoy live music as well as the race. More entertainment will be added to the line-up soon.
This year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival begins with the Howden Victoria Derby Day on Saturday, 1 November. It continues with the Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 4 November, Crown Oaks Day on Thursday, 6 November, and concludes with the TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday, 8 November.
The announcement of PNAU performing at this year’s Melbourne Cup Day comes after the recent release of their sixth album, Hyperbolic, which features artists including Khalid, Troye Sivan, Empire Of The Sun, Bebe Rexha, and more. The group have also recently collaborated with the likes of Coldplay, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Parcels.
