Playboi Carti Cancels Australian Tour Scheduled To Start Tonight

It comes after the rapper postponed the tour in March.

US rapper Playboi Carti has abruptly cancelled his Australian tour which was set to kick off in Perth tonight.

After postponing the shows in March due to exhaustion, promoters Frontier Touring announced this morning that the shows will not be going ahead "due to artist personal reasons".

"We apologise to those affected by this cancellation," a tweet posted by Frontier reads.

Frontier have advised that all ticketholders will be refunded automatically.

Playboi Carti was scheduled to perform in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne over the coming days.

TOUR CANCELLED: @playboicarti’s AU & NZ tour this month has been cancelled due to artist personal reasons. We apologise to those affected by this cancellation.

All ticketholders will automatically be refunded, no further action is required.
