After a stellar debut in 2020, regional NSW music fest Play On The Plains is set to return with a massive lineup next year.

The event - which was unable to go ahead in 2021 due to the pandemic and lockdowns - will head back to Deniliquin on Saturday, 12 March, for a massive one day event of big tunes, dancing and good vibes.

Gold Coast indie star Amy Shark is set to headline the event, with appearances from the likes of Skeggs, Spacey Jane, Northeast Party House, GRAACE, Beddy Rays, The Rions and Destrends.

The festival have also announced they will partnering with triple j for the first time this year, with the station acting as primary supporters of the event.

“Thanks to the support received for the inaugural Play On The Plains, we are excited to be announcing our return for a second year in 2022. What a line up we have for you!"General Manager Vicky Lowry is quoted as saying.

“There are many changes planned for our second year including extra shade and beach volleyball. We welcome triple j as a festival partner, thank Edward River Council and all Sponsors for their support in what is proving to be the festival not to be missed.”
