Alternative rockers Placebo plan to release a new five-track EP in October.
Having recently signed a licensing deal with Universal Music, the EP is titled B3 and is the first material the band have released since their 2009 album Battle For The Sun. Fans can pre-order the EP here.
There’s also talk about the band releasing a new studio album in 2013, but details are scarce at this stage, so we’ll keep you updated as they become available.
Placebo have to date recorded six studio albums and sold more than 12 million records worldwide.
