Acclaimed English alt-rockers Placebo have announced they'll be returning to Australian shores for the first time since Soundwave 2014 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut self-titled album.

It'll be their first full headline tour in 11 years, since as part of Soundwave they only did a couple of sideshows, so the tour won't be one to miss if you wanna get across the band's storied career and seven studio albums.

The 20 Years Of Placebo tour has already been making the rounds around Europe and the UK and this September will play seven arena shows around Australia.
