EP-2 dropped on Friday night.

More Pixies More Pixies

A new Pixies EP has been released this weekend, with the band quickly following up September 2013's EP1 with – you guessed it – EP2. The band hit the internet with the news late Friday night, Australian time, informing fans of the new four-track release, which was available for purchase immediately.

It appears the 4,000 copies of the 10” vinyl edition have long sold out.

The four tracks were recorded with producer Gil Norton and, like on EP1, the bass parts were played by Frank Black collaborator Simon Ding Archer – not former bassists Kim Deal, Kim Shattuck or current bassist Paz Lenchantin, who were all a part of the band at some stage in 2013.

The band also shared a video for one of the four tracks, Blue Eyed Hexe, with the announcement of the new EP. You can check it out below.
