Pixies have booted their bassist, Kim Shattuck, from the band.
Shattuck replaced their previous bassist and founding member, Kim Deal, who was also fired earlier this year. Shattuck posted a statement on Facebook addressing the situation:
"Super disappointed to learn that my time with the Pixies ended today. Amazing experience. Looking forward to focusing my attention back on the Muffs and our upcoming new album. All the best to everyone."
