Aussie singer Grace sits at #2 on the Single Charts

The soundtrack for musical comedy sequel Pitch Perfect 2 has come in a #2 on this week’s ARIA Album Charts, making it the week's highest debuting new release. It debuted at the top of the Digital Albums Chart.

The soundtrack for the original film, which came out in 2012, re-entered the top 20, landing at #16 — it originally peaked at #9 in January 2013.

With his end-of-year stadium tour selling like crazy, Ed Sheeran’s X remains in the charts, being bumped back up to first place — chalking up its seventh week in the top position, having first hit number one in June last year.

Other debuts this week include Snoop Dogg’s Bush (32) and the soundtrack for the first season of Empire (31) — it features tracks by Mary J Blige and Courtney Love.

Aussie singer-songwriter Grace sits at #2 on the Single Charts with her cover of You Don't Own Me, unable to dislodge Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again at #1 for its sixth week. Grace has this week topped the Digital Tracks chart.

Khalifa was also the first number one on ARIA's inaugural Streaming Audio & Visual Tracks Chart.
